National Association of Entrepreneurship First Generation Council Launched (Posted November 15, 2016)

NAE Announced today that the National First-Generation Council (NFGC) is officially launched. The Council is made up of NAE entrepreneurs founded by the National Association of Entrepreneurship. Its mission is to lead, develop, and advocate for first-generation entrepreneurs, and their role in American free enterprise; it does so by influencing and guiding research, advocacy, and national and community-based outreach programs in the United States. Reaching millions of Americans, NFGC is a leading NAE council.
“The Council provides leadership for an NAE marque initiative.” says Bill Miller, NAE Member.  “NAE believes that this program is going to really move the needle, and the Council is the driving force .”
NFGC Primary Focus:
NFGC guides philosophy and content development for public awareness, community outreach and advocacy activities. Its programs are designed to spotlight first-generation entrepreneurship, and promote free enterprise; it acts as a central source for program guidance and seeks to fill the gaps in the public forum.
Program guidance includes:
• Participating in national survey program.
• Providing Index content.
• Participating in national forums.
• Nominating award candidates.
• Guiding film content.
• Participating in white paper and article projects.
